• We dance out in the summer, on Tuesday evenings, at local pubs. This is the usual way Morris sides get to show off what the dancing is all about (as well as a Fetes and other shows) so if you are near any of the pubs listed in the events page during the summer, why not come along and have a bit of fun.
• It is always difficult to get the younger men interested in Morris but really it is just a fun way of preserving something of the English traditional dance. We would love to get more young men involved as we are all getting on a bit and some new blood would be a great way to move on into the future.
• With the Olympics coming up in 2012, the Morris Ring (a sort of overseeing body for the male Morris movement) wants to make something of this tradition. While most of us will be too decrepit to do anything, if we can get some young members, we may get involved as there is a revival in Morris Dancing on the way - be part of it!
